Volunteers needed for HomeAid Atlanta Care day

By Intown Homes

GAHBA1The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association is looking for volunteers to participate in a Care day this year on October 23rd and 24th with HomeAid Atlanta.  HomeAid Atlanta is a not-for-profit organization who provides transitional housing for the temporarily homeless.  New Life Maternity home is a 2,400 square foot facility that serves up to five, homeless, pregnant teen girls between the ages of 12-17.  It is one of only two maternity homes in Georgia.  Resident teen mothers are able to continue schooling and develop life skills.  The mission of New Life Maternity Home is to provide a nurturing residential care-program for expectant teenage girls that prepare them for productive, independent, meaningful and responsible lives in their communities.  This is a great opportunity to give back to the community and help make a difference in girl’s lives.  If you are available to participate and/or donate materials please e-mail Heather Bonds at hbounds@callnorthwest.com.
